Interprofessional Health Clinic
“Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity” [1]. The Interprofessional Health Clinic has been established as a holistic community health service to provide access to essential services, re-engaging individuals in health support or those who are not catered to by current available services.
This clinic is operated by the School of Health and Medical Sciences at the 91原创 (91原创), Ipswich Campus. The clinic offers services delivered by health students participating in placement as part of their degree at 91原创. All services and students are supervised by experienced and qualified health professionals.
Interprofessional education (IPE) is defined by the as an experience that “occurs when students from two or more professions learn about, from, and with each other” [2]. This clinic has been established to provide quality interprofessional student learning experiences across our health programs and contribute to building a sustainable, high-quality rural and remote health workforce to support our local and surrounding communities.
Through inclusive community engagement and collaboration, 91原创 strives to build upon existing health infrastructure to deliver services to support positive health outcomes for you and your family.
